Angel Bridge Drawings
| Here are some views of the bridge designs I made in AutoCAD. | ||

| This first one was the original concept design. This was abandoned do to the complexity of design and the fact the bridges got longer. Though I still like the look of this bridge. Maybe I will have to design a new module around a bridge like this. | ||

| This second bridge is the current design. I like this design because it resembles bridges here in the Pacific North West. The entire bridge superstructure is made from MDF and I used Rix Vintage Highway Overpass for the deck and railing.
I printed out 1 to 1 drawings of the actual model. Then I laid each piece on the drawings to ensure an exact fit. The finish bridge has an angel and two vase buttons added to give it an Art Deco look. That is why I refer to the auto bridge as Angel Bridge. That and because Vase Bridge just doesn’t sound right. Although maybe I should nave called it Cherub Bridge because the little angel is actually a Cherub. Nah…. Note the deck of the bridge angles up to the top right. This is because the height of the highway at the right is higher then that of the left. This also gives the over all scene a more realistic look. Like the bridge was actually built for this canyon because it was. |
